Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Orange Line is one of the longest rail line in DART Rail System (37 miles ;60 km). During rush hour, this line starts at Parker Road Station in Plano and terminates at DFW Airport.
Airport Train
Orange Line stops by two main airports in Dallas, Dallas Love Field (DAL) and Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).
Dallas Love Field (DAL)
Inwood/Love Field Airport Station is the station to transfer from Dallas Love Field Airport. The station is not by the airport or no walking distance. There is a DART Shuttle bus called, Route 55 Love Link, that travels between the station and Love Field Airport Departure Entrance. This shuttle stop is located below the station.

Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport (DFW)
The Orange Line terminates at DFW Airport Terminal A. If you’re flying American Airlines (AA), you can use Terminal A to checkin your luggage and then take the DFW SkyLink train to your designated terminal/gates. If not flying AA, there is a DFW Shuttle bus located upstairs.

Fares
If you’re just going to/from the airport, I recommend purchasing an a morning, midday, or afternoon ticket. This ticket cost $3.00. If you’re planning to use DART all day, then purchase the Local Day Pass for $6.00.

D2 Subway – Orange Line Future
In the future, DART is going to build an underground subway tunnels and station through Downtown Dallas. The Orange Line will use the new underground subway tunnel in downtown. For more information about the D2 Subway project, visit the project’s website.
Opinion
The Orange Line is a great additional DART Lines. This line connects to two airports, several businesses districts, hospitals, and other point of interests.
Riding the Orange Line from DFW Airport to Downtown Dallas for $2.50 – $6.00 is s good deal. The ride is almost one hour between those two destinations.
I’m looking forward for DART to complete building a crosstown rail line that will connect from DFW Airport Terminal B to Richardson and South of Plano. DART will launch the Silver Line (formerly known as the Cotton Belt Line) in 2024. For more information about DART Silver Line, visit the official project’s website.
