
Trinity Railway Express (TRE) is a commuter rail that travels from Dallas Union Station in Downtown Dallas to Fort Worth T&P Station in Downtown Fort Worth. TRE is funded by Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) and Trinity Metro.
The full ride between those two cities is one hour.
Double-decker coach
TRE uses a double-decker (coach type: Bombardier BiLevel Coach). Some coach train has a restroom. The seats are very comfortable and spacious.

Dallas to Fort Worth (vice-versa)
If you are going from Dallas to Fort Worth (or Fort Worth to Dallas), you have to purchase a Regional Day Pass ticket. The cost of the Regional Day Pass is $12.00. However, with the Regional Day Pass, you can transfer to:
- DART Bus (in Dallas)
- DART Rail
- Trinity Metro Bus (in Fort Worth)
- TEXRail (a commuter train that travels from Fort Worth to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport DFW Terminal B).
- Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA) A-train from Northwest of Dallas to Downtown Denton.
The Regional Day Pass can be purchased at any ticket vending machine on a train platform or station. Or you can purchase the ticket on GoPass App. This app is available for Apple iPhone (iOS) or any Android phones.
In Dallas, If you are only traveling between Dallas Union station to CentrePort/DFW Airport Station, you can purchase the Local Day Pass.
Moreover, in Fort Worth, if you are traveling between Downtown Fort Worth to CentrePort/DFA Airport Station, you can purchase the Local Day Pass.
